Breslow Quietly One Of The Best Relievers

Ryan Braun was 2-4 with 1 HR (his 8th), 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored against the Astros. This was an absolute bomb.

Ian Kinsler was 1-4 with 1 RBI against the Royals. He was robbed of 2 hits.

Kevin Youkilis was 0-2 with 2 BBs and 1 run scored against the Rays.

Ike Davis was 0-3 with 1 BB against the Phillies.

Gabe Kapler was 0-3 against the Red Sox.

Craig Breslow pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings on 1 hit, 1 BB, and 2 Ks against the Orioles. Breslow is once again having a terrific season. His WHIP is 1.15, his ERA is 2.45, and he has 19 Ks through 18 1/3 innings. He hasn't given up a run in his last 8 innings.

I wish the Yankees had Breslow. He has been very impressive. Feldman goes tonight. Did you ever find out if the story about him renouncing his heritage was true?

I know Craig personally and he is proud of his Jewish heritage: http://www.thegreatrabbino.com/2010/02/interviews-as-pitcher-and-philathropist.html

You should check out his charity, the Strike 3 Foundation, at www.strike3foundation.org

Apologies, Anon. Wasn't talking about Breslow, but was talking about Feldman
