See Below

Kevin Youkilis was 2-3 with 2 BBs (1 IBB), 1 HBP, 1 HR (his 5th), 1 double (his 8th), 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored against the Angels.

Ian Kinsler was 2-4 with 1 double (his 1st) against the A's.

Ike Davis was 1-5 with 1 double (his 4th) and 1 run scored against the Reds. Davis faced Mike Leake, a former teammate from Arizona State.

Scott Schoeneweis pitched 1 inning and gave up 4 runs on 4 hits, 2 BBs, and 1 K. Fortunately for Schoeneweis, there was no chance he could blow the lead. Terry Francona has used him a lot - and not just against lefties. Has Schoeneweis pitched well? No. Has Francona played to his strengths as a lefty specialist? No. Will he be cut soon? Yes. Is that fair? Probably.

Francona falls into the trap many managers fall into by playing relievers they feel comfortable with. Therefore they get overused until they aren't effective anymore and then a new cycle begins. Schoeneweis hasn't been doing badly and had been useful until last night. But I put that on Francona and not the pitcher.
