Jason Marquis picked up his 6th win against the Phillies. He went 6 1/3 innings and gave up 2 runs on 8 hits, 0 BBs, and 4 Ks. His groundball to flyball ratio was 10-4. At the plate, he was 1-3 with 1 run scored. Marquis now has 8 quality starts.
Craig Breslow pitched 1 scoreless inning on 1 K against the Yankees. In his last 6 1/3 innings, Breslow has given up 1 run on 4 hits, 1 BB, and 7 Ks. Starting to get in a groove.
