Feldman Moved To The Pen

The Texas Rangers have moved Scott Feldman to the bullpen and replaced him with Rich Harden in the rotation. This is a significant demotion for the man who started Opening Day, but with a 5.46 ERA and a 1.601 WHIP, it's not unexpected.

Batting 3rd, Kevin Youkilis was 1-3 with 1 BB (IBB), 1 HBP, 1 double (his 26th and 200th career), and 1 run scored against the Tigers.

Batting cleanup, Ryan Braun was 1-3 with 1 BB and 1 double (his 27th) against the Astros.

Batting 8th, Danny Valencia was 1-3 against the Mariners. With Nick Punto on the DL, it looks like Valencia will get regular playing time at third base.

Batting 5th, Ike Davis was 0-3 with 1 BB against the Diamondbacks.

Sorry to see that about Feldman, but you are right, he has earned his demotion.

Youkilis was comical yesterday. The Red Sox had men on first and second and Youkilis was hit by the pitch. Once again he acted as if it was intentional and got all kinds of pissed off. What a joke.

I'll take Valencia over Punto forever.
