Batting 8th, Danny Valencia was 4-4 with 1 BB, 1 HR (his 1st), 2 doubles, (his 5th and 6th), 4 RBIs, and 4 runs scored against the Royals. Wow, what a game! Doesn't get much better than hitting your first HR off Zack Greinke, and it was a grand slam. Valencia also became the first Twin to have his 1st HR be a grand slam.Batting 3rd, Kevin Youkilis was 3-5 with 1 run scored and 1 SB (his 4th) against the Angels. It's a little unusual that Youk was in the 3-hole tonight, as he's been a fixture at cleanup the entire season. This was only the 2nd game all year that he's batted 3rd.
Ryan Braun was 0-2 with 1 BB against the Reds. His BA has dipped below .280. This is neither here nor there, but it figures he would have a down year after I drafted him. Guess I won't be making that mistake again...
