Scott Feldman picked up his 15th win of the year against the Orioles. And, of course, it was on the road. Feldman pitched 6 2/3 innings and gave up 1 run on 4 hits, 2 BBs, and 2 Ks against the Orioles. His WHIP is 1.24. His ERA is 3.62. His record is a sterling 15-4.
According to a graphic on the MLB Network, Feldman is in an elite group of pitchers with reference to his winning percentage on the road this season. Feldman is 11-1 (.917 winning percentage) on the road. Since 1964, only 4 pitchers have better winning percentages on the road: Jimmy Key was 10-0 in 1994 for the Yankees; Scott McGregor was 14-1 in 1983 for the Orioles; Roger Clemens was 13-1 in 1986 for the Red Sox; and Pedro Martinez was 12-1 in 2000 for the Red Sox. Pretty neat.
Ryan Braun was 1-3 with 2 BBs and 1 run scored against the Giants. Also swiped his 13th bag of the season.
Kevin Youkilis was 1-2 with 1 RBI against the White Sox.
Batting 3rd, Ian Kinsler was 0-3 with 1 BB against the Orioles.
Sam Fuld was 1-2 with 2 BBs and 1 run scored against the Mets.
Brad Ausmus was 0-2 against the Padres. However, he did throw out the speedy Everth Cabrera on a stealing attempt.
John Grabow had his 1st rough outing as a Cub, and it was ugly. Grabow didn't record an out and gave up 3 runs on 4 hits and 1 BB. His WHIP is 1.46. His ERA is 3.13.

Feldman is truly one of the most fun stories of 2009. What a great season!
What happened to Grabow happens to all relievers sooner or later. Comes with the territory. He'll snap back.
I wish Kinsler would hurry up to 30/30. It's nerve wracking.
