Jason Marquis picked up his 4th win (2nd with the Padres) of the season. He went 6 innings and gave up 2 runs on 6 hits, 3 BBs (2 IBBs), and 2 Ks against the Dodgers. Since joining the Padres, Marquis has posted a respectable 3.62 ERA in 8 starts.
Craig Breslow pitched 2/3 of an inning on 1 K against the Cubs.
