The Legend Of Sam Fuld Grows

Batting 3rd, Ryan Braun was 2-5 with 1 HR (his 7th), 3 RBIs, and 2 runs scored against the Astros. Going oppo there with authority. Braun only had 2 opposite field HRs in 2010. He's already matched that total in 2011.

Batting 6th, Ike Davis was 2-4 with 1 HR (his 4th), 1 RBI, and 1 run scored against the Diamondbacks. Wow, that was a moonshot! Ike has homered in each of his last 3 games.

Batting cleanup, Kevin Youkilis was 1-4 with 1 HR (his 4th), 2 RBIs, and 1 run scored against the Angels. Good to see Youk back in the lineup.

Batting 7th, Danny Valencia was 1-4 with 1 HR (his 2nd), 2 RBIs, and 1 run scored against the Indians. Turned on that one.

Batting leadoff, Sam Fuld was 1-3 with 2 BBs, 2 runs scored, and 1 SB (his 10th) against the Blue Jays. Fuld leads the Majors in stolen bases. Could we be looking at 30+ SBs? Maybe even 40? I wouldn't doubt it. And ho-hum, another great catch.

Batting leadoff, Ian Kinsler was 0-4 against the Royals.

Craig Breslow pitched 1 scoreless inning on 1 hit and 1 K against the Mariners.
