Braun Walks The Walk

Batting leadoff once again, Ian Kinsler was 1-3 with 1 HBP, 1 BB, 1 double (his 21st), and 2 runs scored against the Twins.

Ryan Braun was 0-3 with 2 BBs and 1 run scored against the Pirates. Also swiped his 11th bag of the season. Braun has now drawn 44 BBs this season. He had 42 last year and 29 the year before.

Sam Fuld was 1-1 against the Padres.

Brad Ausmus was 0-2 against the Cardinals.

Josh Whitesell was 0-1 against the Braves.

Craig Breslow picked up his 12th hold of the season against the Yankees. He pitched 2 innings of scoreless relief on 1 hit and 2 Ks. His ERA is 4.06. His WHIP is 1.14.

John Grabow pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief against the Padres. His ERA is now 2.98. Grabow was in line for the win, but Kevin Gregg blew another save.

Garbow and Breslow were fantastic. Gregg has been awful for the Cubs. Sheesh.
