Rookie Ryan Sadowski's scoreless innings streak came to an end Wednesday against the Marlins. Sadowski extended the streak to 16 2/3 innings before finally relinquishing a run. Sadowski picked up his 1st loss of the season and his career. He pitched 5 innings and gave up 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits, 4 BBs, and 4 Ks.
Gabe Kapler was 2-3 with 1 BB, 2 RBIs, and 1 run scored against the Blue Jays.
Ryan Braun was 2-4 with 1 BB and 1 triple (his 3rd) against the Cardinals.
Kevin Youkilis was 0-2 with 2 BBs and 1 run scored against the A's.
Craig Breslow didn't record an out against the Red Sox. He gave up 2 hits, but no runs.
