Whitesell Comes Through

Josh Whitesell came through for the D-Backs with a two-run double in the 2nd inning against the division rival Dodgers. Whitesell was 1-2 with 1 BB, 1 double, and 2 RBIs.

Ryan Braun was 0-4 against the Marlins.

Craig Breslow picked up another loss for the A's, this time against the White Sox. He pitched 1 1/3 innings and gave up 1 run on 1 BB and 2 Ks. It was a tough loss, though, as he wasn't the reliever who served up the game-winning home run to Jim Thome. Congrats to Thome on his 550th bomb. Hope you did it the right way, Jim.

My last post was about the stupidity of taking Breslow out of that game and bringing the right hander in. Stupid and Breslow never should have gotten that loss.
