Yesterday, I wrote that Ian Kinsler needed to "pick it up on the basepaths" if he wants to be a part of that elite and elusive 30/30 club. So, what does he do today? Steal 2 bases. Coincidence? You tell me.Kinsler was 2-4 with 1 double (His 14th), 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored against the Astros. The 2 stolen bases gives him 13 on the year.
Ryan Braun was 2-4 with 1 double (His 15th), 1 RBI, and 2 runs scored against the Indians.
Josh Whitesell was 1-4 with 1 BB, 1 RBI, and 1 run scored against the Royals.
Kevin Youkilis was 0-4 against the Marlins.
Gabe Kapler was 0-1 against the Rockies.
John Grabow pitched 2 scoreless innings against the Twins. It wasn't pretty, though, as he gave up a hit and walked 3 while striking out 1.
Scott Schoeneweis pitched 2/3 of scoreless relief against the Royals.
Craig Breslow pitched 1/3 of an inning against the Dodgers. He gave up 2 runs (1 earned) on his 1 BB.
