Breslow Sees A Spike In K Rate

Ian Kinsler was 2-5 with 1 run scored and 2 SBs (his 5th and 6th) against the Astros.

Batting cleanup, Ryan Braun was 2-5 against the Rockies.

Kevin Youkilis was 1-4 with 1 RBI against the Dodgers. Youk's 1st inning RBI-single turned out to be the game-winning hit for the Red Sox.

Ike Davis was 1-4 against the Yankees.

Craig Breslow picked up his 2nd win of the season. He pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings on 2 Ks against the Cardinals. Through 30 2/3 innings, Breslow's K/9 is an impressive 9.1. His career mark before the season started was 7.4 K/9.

Youkilis's first inning single was funny unless you're a Dodger fan. An excuse me swing that rolled slowly down the third base line and hit the bag. Lucky, but I'm sure he'll take it.
