Batting 5th, Danny Valencia was 1-4 with 1 HR (his 15th), 1 RBI, and 1 run scored against the Angels. Most projections had Valencia in the 10-11 HR range before the season started. Not to toot my own horn, but I actually put him in the 12-16 range and said he was capable of approaching 20.
Batting 3rd, Ryan Braun was 1-5 with 1 run scored against the Astros.
Batting cleanup, Kevin Youkilis was 0-5 against the Rangers.
