Q & A With Craig Breslow

The Great Rabbino recently conducted an interview with Craig Breslow. To read it, follow this link.

In other news, Sandy Koufax imparted words of wisdom to young Dodger southpaw Clayton Kershaw (who has been compared to Koufax) during an hour-long flight to Arizona late last night. Koufax will be a guest instructor at the Dodgers' Spring Training camp.

Didn't seem like Breslow was very gracious about the Jewish questions. Perhaps he was trying to downplay it to not stand out or something? It felt odd reading his responses.

Could be because Breslow is a convert and didn't grow up Jewish. Or he may want to be known more as a good pitcher, rather than a Jewish pitcher.

Josh, He grew up Jewish. He was part of our Hebrew school car pool

Hmm, guess I was misinformed. Thanks, Anon.

I also know Craig personally and he is proud of his Jewish heritage: http://www.thegreatrabbino.com/2010/02/interviews-as-pitcher-and-philathropist.html
