Batting 7th, Danny Valencia was 3-4 with 2 doubles (his 15th and 16th) and 1 RBI against the Tigers. Were Valencia to play a full season - at his current pace - he would wind up with 43 doubles. With 204 ABs under his belt, I don't know if we can completely write off his .328 BA.Batting 3rd, Ryan Braun was 2-4 with 1 BB and 1 run scored against the Reds. Braun finished the month with a sterling line of .424/.496/.586.
Batting 5th, Ike Davis was 0-3 with 1 BB against the Braves. Despite only hitting .250, Ike posted a .369 OBP in August.

Plus, Valencia had the game winning hit in the bottom of the tenth for the Twins against the Tigers. Or am I a day ahead of you?
I must be because Breslow pitched two scoreless innings and Valencia's game-winning hit was his only hit for the night.
